WHO ARE HORSHAM AND CRAWLEY COUNSELLING?Horsham and Crawley Counselling (HCC) is based in Horsham, West Sussex and is a registered charity. HCC is a member of BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and as such abides by BACP's Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy.
HCC was established over 10 years ago, to provide accessible and affordable counselling to the local and surrounding community. Our clients refer themselves, although HCC has frequently been recommended to them by their GP and other health professionals.
WHY SHOULD I CONSIDER USING HCC?HCC is a member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy). All of our counsellors are required to have undertaken training to a minimum level of Diploma standard and are required to provide evidence of a CRB (Criminal Bureaus Disclosure) - in addition we provide ongoing training to ensure they continue to update their skills. Additionally, we provide professional supervision for each of our counsellors (this is a requirement for all UK counsellors). Only a small number of our counsellors are in their final year of training - by providing solid support and development opportunities for our counsellors we are able to attract and retain highly skilled individuals. In fact, the majority of our counsellors train and work well beyond these requirements, bringing a wealth of experience to our team.
In addition, by using our service you may (according to your financial situation) benefit from reduced cost fees and feel assured that any fees you are paying are helping to provide counselling for someone else who might otherwise not be able to afford it.
